Bridal at Irmo Park

As promised, here are a couple of images from Joye’s Bridal Portrait session. As an excellent calligrapher, Joye is something of an artist at heart so we shot a few images that were a little different than the usual “Southern Bride” portraits. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with those, love doing them. But this bride wanted a little “extra.”

In the end, she chose the second image below for her 16×20 canvas print to display at the reception. It was a tough choice too. For a little while she was leaning a bit toward a more traditional image. The artist in her won!

Can you guess who the Groom’s favorite team is?

Great bridal portraits. Being from Wisconsin I can enjoy the groom’s choice in teams!

I LOVE that last one with the Packer jersey! My bro-in-law is a huge packer fan and his wife should’ve done something like this on their wedding day!

Great bridal photograph against the skyline. Can’t guess who the team is… but they don’t play here in London :-)

Wow what a fun bridal session. You went from traditional photography to edgy and fun in your bridal shoot. This should be a fun wedding with a great bride and groom. Love your outdoor photography and use of lighting.

Really beautiful wedding — and very professional photography. Your work really shows that you must love being a wedding photographer. Love the first shot of the bride in her wedding dress.
